Update:

Man I really don't blog a lot lol. Anyway, first i'll ask, how you doin? Good? Awesome!

I told yall, about 2 blogs ago, that I was working with a dude named Sax. Well I still am and we've formed a collective now referred to as DMA productions. It's been a little rough getting started, but we got a great team of ppl to ride out with us. My album is about 70% complete, and we are also working on a project for our pop/hip-hop artist, Riss. I am overseeing the production of both projects.

We made a lot of great moves, but we still have a long way to go. Stay tuned for more updates.

P.S. I got a show coming up on July 2nd, 2010. I'll be performing at Tuxedo Junction in Danbury CT. Come out if you can. $15 at the door. Doors open at 7pm. I go on at 9pm. See you there!!!

Oh boy...the saga continues...

So, last we spoke I was very enthusiastic about the process of recording this project. I still am. However, it's been very rough folks.

To start, everything was going great. I was recording a new joint everyday and learning as I went along. I got up on my Twitter ish and forgot blogger lol. But, everything started going down hill from there. The studio put a stop on free time, because a mic went missing. They decided to let me go as a front desk employee, because it would be more cost effective to have interns do it for free. That basically thrusted me into financial turmoil.

Luckily I got up with a guy named Sax who worked for the studio upstairs and we worked on a few succesful projects which kept me sane. But, one night while I was working, I got a strange feeling in my stomach. I ignored it. I went home that next morning and found out my dad had a second stroke. While I was having fun, he was damn near dying. I went to see him in the hospital and it nearly broke me down.

If that wasn't bad enough, the next week, I was going home and got arrested in the subway for having a fucking POCKET KNIFE!!! Un-fucking-believable!!! So I have a court date in November for that.

Then, on top of that shit, my back pack gets stolen from the studio... WTF!!!! U don't even wanna know what was in it....smh.

So my life has been a constant headache since we last spoke. Sorry I haven't been keeping in touch. I'll try and blog a little more often. On the bright side, I am now listed as an assistant engineer on the website. I basically got a promotion lol so that's a good look. I'm gonna ride this wave of positivity and see where it takes me.

Peace! and much love to ya...

Being productive...awesome!!!

So i just put up another one on the myspace page. "A Hip Hop Life for Me" produced by J Flex. Loved the beat. It just made words pour out my finger tips. He sent me another joint that i'm callin "What If." Only got 2 verses done. Should be done with it by Monday or Tuesday.

I been being very productive with the music lately. I'm hoping i can keep up with this. Why is it that i can write to other ppls tracks but not my own...? I dont know. So ima start slangin my beats and using the money to break off other producers. We'll see how it goes...

In the mean time, a lil video footage from my last session:

Peace!

Get to Work!!!

A couple producers hit me up recently and wanted me to work on a few beats for em. So i'm in the process of writing to that. Shout out to J Flex and Brian Z for showin interest in my rap skills. So i'ma try to get up with my boy Heethen and track these joints on out. Stay tuned for some nice footage of that as well.

So i just been working really. My dude Sax gave me some rock guitar tracks of his and wanted me to put some drums behind that. Sorta like a co-producer type deal. We'll see where that goes, could be lucrative ya diggg! And we got some other things we workin on that i cant really speak on right now until i know more info about exactly how this is gonna work out (owwww trust me lol).

To all the 4 ppl that read my blog lol ima keep yall posted ya digg!

Peace!

A lil appetizer...

Heres a couple things i worked on before. They aren't too old but they aren't that new either. Just so ppl can have a lil taste of my production ability:

Love Lock Down - The Good Money Remix
(a lot of ppl saying it should have been the official remix, but w/e lol)

Lollipop - The Good Money Remix
(i think its dope lol f*cc who ever don't like it lmao)

So there u have it. Some of my dopest production, IMHO. Hope you enjoy.
Stay tuned for more new music, original and remixes. Peace!
